Good morning David, Strange as it seems, October through February are the busiest months in the garage door business, which causes the long lead time. The sections needed to do your job had to be ordered which takes the timing out of our control as well.The part for the return trip was also a special order. Sometimes these things turn up at the time of install/service and we don't know in advance to order them. Please be assured that we value our customers verymuch and have a very long history of working hard for them.Satisfaction Satisfied
